Project Highlights
- Engineered & installed a highly complex electrical package for a mammoth medical complex on a tight urban site
- Installed two double-ended closed transition substations and upgrade two 4,160 volt feeders
- Assisted in installing & integrating a campus-wide security center to combine the monitoring of three different WUSM fire-alarm systems and the security system for 40-plus buildings on the campus
- Established a communications backbone consisting of 24 strands of 50µm OM3 armored multimode fiber, 24 strands of armored single mode fiber, a 25-pair Category 3 copper cable and a ½” hardline coax connection to a total of 13 telecommunications rooms
- Strategically warehoused materials due to site constraints for just-in-time delivery and installation
- Delivered innovative custom boxes containing wire wedges to support more than 130 feet of heavy electrical feeders that ascended the 12-story chase to comply with codes
- Effectively manage a phased, multi-month move in one quarter of a floor plate at a time
- Met all expectations on diversity, budget, schedule and safety
- Managed a complicated series of feeder disconnects & reconnects without disrupting campus operations
- No lost time or injuries in 88,000 manhours worked
- Installations helped achieve LEED Silver Certification
